Purchase the Tuition Refund Plan (DUE: August 22, 2022)

Although we hope each student will sail through the semester without incident, we know from experience that is not always the case. As a result, the university partnered with GradGuard so students can purchase insurance to protect their educational investment by reimbursing up to 100% of tuition, room, and board in the event of a medical or mental health withdrawal, based on your level of coverage. Please note that your financial aid award may affect refunded amounts. Tuition insurance is available for purchase via Student eBill prior to the start of each fall and spring semester. Tuition insurance may also be purchased from GradGuard directly via their website or by calling 877-794-6603. Tuition Insurance must be purchased prior to the start of each semester to cover tuition and other covered expenses for that term. For more information, please see the GradGuard website

Registration for Accommodations (DUE: November 15, 2022)
The George Washington University and the Law School have a bifurcated system to address law students’ requests for accommodation. Any student requesting an accommodation based on the potential impact of a disability must contact the University’s Disability Support Services office to establish eligibility and coordinate reasonable accommodations. For additional information on this process for law students, including forms for submission, please refer to the Law School Dean of Students website. Although the deadline to register for and request accommodations is November 15, we strongly encourage you to begin the process as soon as possible.

Register for 0L (Complete at your leisure)

GW Law has partnered with Harvard Law School to make 0L available to its students.  0L is an online course designed by Harvard Law School to introduce incoming law students to the American legal system, the vocabulary of law school, and what it means to be a law student in the U.S.  Self-paced, with engaging video lessons, vocabulary flashcards, and optional knowledge checks, the course is designed to ensure that all incoming students, whatever their backgrounds and previous areas of study, start with foundational knowledge that enables them to thrive at law school.

To register and participate in 0L, GW Law students should complete this form.  Harvard Law School will then contact students directly to enroll in 0L.  Please reach out to hlsonlineatlaw [dot] harvard [dot] edu if you have any account or technical questions.
