James Hopenfeld is a founding partner of Hopenfeld, Singer, Rice & Saito, LLP. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling specializing in patents and trade secrets. Previously, he was a partner at Ditthavong Mori & Steiner, Fish & Neave and Ropes & Gray, and an honors program trial attorney for the Intellectual Property Section in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Civil Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to that, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roderick R. McKelvie of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
