Ms. Rueger has spent nearly two decades in private practice with a focus on energy markets, energy transactions, and energy regulation. She advises clients in both the electric and natural gas sectors. Ms. Rueger represents clients in the negotiation of power purchase agreements (conventional and renewable generation), mergers and acquisitions transactions, project financings, and interconnection agreements, among others. She also counsels market participants on regional transmission organization and independent system operator market rules around the United States and the development of creative strategies to successfully operate within those markets. Ms. Rueger currently practices with the law firm of Perkins Coie LLP. She is also a member of the GW Law Energy Law Advisory Council and served as President of the Energy Bar Association in 2020-2021.
