Mr. Kaplowitz is Vice President for Offshore Wind at the American Clean Power Association. Previously, he served as Senior Counsel – US Offshore Wind at GE Renewable Energy, and spent five years in the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of the Solicitor as an attorney-advisor to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s offshore wind program. Mr. Kaplowitz began his career in private practice as an environmental, commercial, and tort litigator at several law firms in Philadelphia and Washington, DC. He lives with his family in Arlington, VA, where he serves on the board of his local farmers market and on the steering committee of the Arlington Democrats.
