Madeline Marie Smedley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in 2016 and with highest honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2019. During law school, Ms. Smedley served as President of the Mock Trial Board and an Associate on The George Washington Law Review, where she published her Student Note “Hearsay in the Modern Age.” From 2019-2020, she clerked for Judge Royce C. Lamberth on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, after which she worked as a general litigation associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in Washington, DC. Ms. Smedley currently works as an Attorney-Advisor at the National Labor Relations Board.
