Madeline Smedley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in 2016 and with highest honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2019. During law school, Ms. Smedley served as President of the Mock Trial Board and an Associate on The George Washington Law Review, where she published her Student Note “Hearsay in the Modern Age.” After law school, she clerked for Judge Royce C. Lamberth on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Ms. Smedley is currently an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in Washington, D.C.
