    • The CLC has an alliance with Centro de Competencia (CeCo) of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from Chile, which aims to promote and foster competition law and policy along Latin America.
    • Find more the alliance here:
      • There should be a link to access with the following information: On December 2022, The Competition Law Center of The George Washington University (CLC) entered into a partnership with CeCo, aiming to contribute to creating a dialogue space between authorities, the private sector, and scholars for developing and applying competition law and policy in Latin America. Through this alliance, which has already be joined by the Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador, and Universidad del Pacífico in Peru, the CLC expects to endorse CeCo’s achievements, which among others include building a top of edge technology database project on antitrust decisions; that we believe that it is a scalable model that could be replicated around the world, increasing transparency, accuracy, and certainty in the antitrust litigation and rulemaking processes across jurisdictions. Research

World Competition Authority Database

  • The CLC also conducts its own competition policy research. As of 2013, the CLC publishes a benchmarking report that analyzes over 120 competition law systems according to important institutional characteristics. This project formed part of United Nations Conference on Trade & Development Research Partnership Platform. Additionally, the CLC has created a unique database that includes profiles for worldwide competition systems.

Journal of Antitrust

  • In cooperation with Oxford University’s Centre for Competition Law and Policy, the CLC edits the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement (JAE), which is published by Oxford University Press. The JAE provides a forum for articles focused on issues related to the design and operation of competition law regimes.
