About Paul Tucker
Sir Paul Tucker is Chair of The Systemic Risk Council and a Senior Fellow at Harvard Business School (HBS). He previously served as Deputy Governor at the Bank of England (2009-2013) and as a member of the G20 Financial Stability Board’s Steering Group. During his time at the Bank of England, Tucker was a member of the bank’s Monetary Policy Committee, Financial Policy Committee (vice chair), Prudential Regulatory Authority Board (vice chair), and Court of Directors. Internationally, he was a member of the steering committee of the G20 Financial Stability Board, and chaired its Committee on the Resolution of Cross-Border Banks. In 2014, Tucker was granted a knighthood for his services to central banking. He also currently serves as a director at Swiss Re and was recently elected to the board of the Financial Services Volunteers Corps (FSVC).
