Internships and Alumni Networking
The Purpose of the PLSI Internship List
Welcome to the Political Law Studies Initiative's internship and alumni networking page. The purpose of the list is to provide GW Law students with general information on organizations, government agencies, and law firms that accept law students as interns, as well as contact information for GW Law alumni who work in the field of political law. Students should consider this a launch pad for inquiring about opportunities. We recommend treating every communication with an employer or alumni on this list with the same degree of professionalism and care given to a formal job interview.
PLSI will continue to update the list as we get more information, but to sign up for notices of specific job openings, students may join the Political Law Society email list by emailing gwpoliticallawsocietygmail [dot] com (gwpoliticallawsociety@gmail.
Please note that Career Center and NALP rules restrict the ability of first year students to contact employers during the fall semester, and limit the hours students can work. For more information, see the GW Law Bulletin. To suggest additional information for this spreadsheet, to volunteer to add your name as a former intern, or for any comments, please contact Tyler Cole at tscolelaw [dot] gwu [dot] edu (tscole[at]law[dot]gwu[dot]edu).
Using The List
The list is divided into tabs. The first tab after is a list of organizations in the metro DC area, grouped by type and name.
The next tab is a (partial) list of GW Law school alumni who practice in the field of political law or work at the organizations listed, which can be used for networking purposes.
