Peter F. Rose is an Assistant Public Defender in the Appellate Division of Maryland’s Office of the Public Defender, where he has also previously served as a trial attorney and as General Counsel. Mr. Rose has argued hundreds of cases in the Maryland Appellate Courts, resulting in dozens of published decisions that appear in the Maryland/Atlantic Reporters. He has previously taught at the General Practice Clinic at the University of Maryland's Carey School of Law, and for many years supervised students for the Appellate Clinics at both Carey Law and the University of Baltimore School of Law. He also serves as a panel member of the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission’s Peer Review Committee. Mr. Rose graduated cum laude from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, after which he served as a circuit court law clerk in Maryland’s Seventh Judicial Circuit.
