Regina Y. Speed-Bost advises a wide range of clients and market participants in the Energy & Natural Resources sector including natural gas companies, local distribution companies, and electric utilities on a variety of matters related to energy administrative and regulatory law. Her previous experience working for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) gives her a unique ability to communicate between business owners, regulators, and engineers. Ms. Speed-Bost understands business objectives and translates that knowledge into results for her clients. She has a thorough understanding of the role the energy sector plays in the health of the overall economy, and she applies that fundamental knowledge to her practice.

Ms. Speed-Bost works on cases of first impression throughout the energy industry, including landmark rate and tariff cases, enforcement and compliance matters, administrative litigation, as well as policy matters and appellate cases.  Her representations traverse each of the recognized Regional Transmission Organizations (RTO) and Independent System Operators (ISO). Ms. Speed-Bost works extensively in the area of Diversity and Inclusion across the legal profession and particularly in the energy sector. She has spearheaded diversity initiatives throughout the energy bar and industry.
