Shehernaz D. Joshi

Shehernaz Joshi, Assistant Dean for Graduate and International Programs oversees the admissions, enrollment management and student retention, marketing and recruitment  for international and US students for the LLM, MSL, SJD and Exchange programs. An experienced law school administrator, Dean Joshi has worked with the international and graduate students for over two decades at GW Law. She has extensive experience in international admissions, global partnerships, and in working with the international legal community.

Before joining academia, Dean Joshi worked for the United Nations and other international organizations. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and her Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from the George Washington University. Dean Joshi previously served as Chair of the Global Engagement Committee at AALS and is currently a member of the LSAC International Recruitment Workgroup.
