Stanley G. Fendley is Director, Legislative & Regulatory Policy for Corning Incorporated, where he is responsible for the development of Corning’s federal public policy efforts regarding taxation, intellectual property, telecommunications, and sensing technology. His focus is government adoption of policies protecting Corning’s competitiveness and innovations. Prior to his work with Corning, Mr. Fendley served as Tax Counsel to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan on the Senate Finance Committee, and previously as Tax Counsel to Senator Dale Bumpers (D-AR) on the Senate Small Business Committee. While on Capitol Hill, Fendley led legislative initiatives relating to employee benefits, technology incentives, and patient capital investment. Before his legal career, Mr. Fendley served as a Field Artillery officer and German Liaison officer with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Division in Germany.
