Steven N. Blivess is an Attorney-Advisor with the D.C. Office of Risk Management where, among other responsibilities, he provides legal counsel to the D.C. Public Sector Workers' Compensation Program. Prior to joining ORM, he was a trial attorney with the D.C. Office of the Attorney General, an associate of the law firm Balber Pickard Maldonado & Van Der Tuin, PC in New York City and an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Connecticut School of Law. This is his first year teaching in the Legal Research and Writing Program, but he previously taught Basic Public Speaking while pursuing his Master's Degree at PSU.
