Founded in the spring of 2010, the Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) is committed to improving GW Law School community’s knowledge of drug-related issues. This includes promoting debate about drug laws and reform, informing students about careers in drug policy, and recruiting students interested in drug law and related areas. SSDP also performs activities in the community that promote reform in current drug laws, facilitate interaction and networking between students, and encourage participation in pro bono work and other advocacy opportunities.
