Join GW Law for a discussion featuring Arthur E. Wilmarth, Jr., Professor Emeritus of Law, and Cynthia Fornelli, JD ’91, as they explore Professor Wilmarth’s career-long study of the rise and fall of the regulatory separation between banks and securities markets, and the need to erect new separations to avoid another devastating financial crisis. 

Because our current legal landscape is rapidly changing, it is useful to connect our alumni community with fellow alumni experts and faculty to discuss these changes.

This webinar will take place via Zoom Meeting. The first part of the webinar will be a question and answer session between the guest speakers, and the last 10-15 minutes will be open to questions from the audience. The conversation will be moderated by Jeremiah Pam, Director of the Business and Finance Law Program.

Professor Wilmarth is author of Taming Megabanks: Why We Need a New Glass-Steagall Act (Oxford University Press, 2020). Cynthia Fornelli, JD ‘91, is an independent director of TriplePoint Venture Growth BDC, and previously served as Executive Director of the Center for Audit Quality.
