Todd Buchwald

Ambassador Todd F. Buchwald serves as the head of the Office of Global Criminal Justice at the U.S. Department of State. Prior to assuming this position, he served in a variety of capacities in the State Department, including during the Clinton, Bush and Obama Administrations as the Assistant Legal Adviser for United Nations Affairs, and as the Assistant Legal Adviser for Political-Military Affairs. Before joining the State Department, Ambassador Buchwald was an attorney in the litigation and tax sections of the law firm of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in Washington, DC.
