Five Questions with Melinda Momplaisir, 2L

Melinda Momplaisir graduated cum laude from Binghamton University and is now a 2L at GW Law. Ms. Momplaisir hails from Brooklyn, New York, and is passionate about criminal law and women's rights issues. Since starting at GW Law, she has served as a research assistant for Dean Roger Fairfax, judicial intern in the Southern District of New York, and an intern in the Department of Justice's Criminal Division. She currently serves as the Social Chair for the Black Law Students Association, and will serve as the Programming Editor for Federal Circuit Bar Journal’s Volume 27 Editorial Board.
