Mr. Reiter is a partner with the DC office of Stinson Leonard Street, where he focuses on energy and telecommunications regulation and appellate review of administrative agency decisions. He has argued over twenty cases in the various federal circuit courts of appeal. Prior to entering private practice in 1984, Mr. Reiter served as a special assistant to the Deputy General Counsel for Litigation at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He has previously taught energy regulation at Vermont Law School and is an instructor at Michigan State's Institute of Public Utilities. He has served as Executive Articles Editor of the Energy Law Journal since 2005. Mr. Reiter has published several law review articles in that Journal as well as in the Federal Communications Law Journal, the Harvard Business Law Review Online, the University of Utah's Journal of Energy Law and Policy and the University of Wyoming's Land and Water Law Review. His publications also include articles in Public Utilities Fortnightly, Municipal Lawyer, and the Electricity Journal.
