Hean L. Koo

Mr. Koo worked as a researcher at a world-renowned biotechnology organization. There he also developed software as a bioinformatics engineer for several years before obtaining his law degree and practicing patent law. Mr. Koo has over 15 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience at international law firms and a patent boutique. Currently, he is a partner with the law firm of Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw, Pittman where he focuses on software-related patent prosecution and counseling for the Fintech and Biotech sectors, among others.
