Jayna Marie Rust is a partner at Thompson Coburn LLP and advises companies, transportation authorities, educational institutions, and other entities regarding their rights and obligations when doing business with or receiving financial assistance from the Federal Government. She also represents those entities in litigation against (or with) the Federal Government on contract-related disputes. In doing so, she represents contractors before agencies, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the US Small Business Administration, Boards of Contract Appeals, the US Court of Federal Claims, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as necessary. She also represents contractors in prime/sub disputes before state courts or Federal district courts and in arbitration hearings. Additionally, she counsels and advises clients on contract- and grant administration matters. A teacher prior to attending GW Law, Ms. Rust enjoys helping others learn new skills and knowledge.
