Jeffrey Manns is a Professor of Law whose teaching and research interests focus on securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law. He also has a courtesy appointment as a Professor of Finance in the George Washington University School of Business.

Professor Manns is a graduate of Yale Law School and received his doctorate from Oxford University, which he attended as a Rhodes Scholar. He served as a Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal and received the Israel H. Peres Prize for the best student publication in the Yale Law Journal. 

Professor Manns currently serves as the Faculty Director for GW in NY: the law school’s innovative “semester abroad” program in New York City that provides students with in-person instruction and internship opportunities related to Business and Finance Law. (GW Law in New York). He previously served as the Faculty Director for the Center for Law, Economics, and Finance during which he worked on a multi-million dollar fundraising campaign to launch the law school’s Business & Finance Law Program, developed an entrepreneurship initiative, and expanded the Business and Finance Law LLM program.
