Krissy McKenna is an IP litigator at Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe, specializing in patent, trademark, and copyright matters in all stages of district court litigation. Ms. Mckenna has represented clients in a wide variety of technologies, including computer hardware, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Prior to joining Orrick, she clerked for the Honorable Leonard P. Stark of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and for the Honorable Kathleen M. O’Malley of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Mckenna graduated with high honors and as a member of the Order of the Coif from George Washington University, where she was recognized for her repeated moot court success, garnering awards for Best Overall Competitor, Best Overall Speaker, and Top Five Individual Mooter.

Prior to law school, Ms. Mckenna obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a Patent Law Concentration from the George Washington University. Throughout college, she worked in multiple laboratories, gaining experience in immunology, nanotechnology, tissue engineering, and nuclear physics. This technical experience, combined with Ms. McKenna's federal clerkships, allows her to be a chameleon in her field, constantly drawing on her scientific and judicial experience to adapt to clients’ needs and provide personalized results.
