Writing Fellows
The Writing Fellows are selected from a competitive group of applicants. They have excellent legal writing and analysis skills, and represent a wide range of educational, linguistic, and professional backgrounds.
Writing Fellows are trained to work with GW Law JD and LLM students. If you’re a GW student in another program, a law school alumnus, or someone in the community who wants help with a legal writing project, please contact us at writingcenterlaw [dot] gwu [dot] edu (writingcenter[at]law[dot]gwu[dot]edu) or 202.994.4650.
Candidates apply in the spring semester to serve as Writing Fellows during the following academic year. All rising 2L, 3L, and 4L students who enjoy legal writing are encouraged to apply. Fellows must make a two-semester commitment to the program and are eligible to reapply for a second year.
