Daniel M. Portnov

Dan Portnov is the Chief Legal Officer at Splash Sports, a peer-to-peer fantasy sports startup. Prior to joining Splash Sports, Mr. Portnov worked at two international law firms and a Washington, DC white collar and government investigations boutique. Mr. Portnov also has a long record of public service, having worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and as a law clerk for the Honorable Joan A. Lenard, U.S. District Court Judge in the Southern District of Florida. He currently volunteers on the Hearing Committee of the DC Board of Professional Responsibility as an hearing officer.

Mr. Portnov has taught at the law school since 2018.
