Nury Gambarrotti Rodriguez

Nury Gambarrotti Rodriguez serves as Legal Counsel on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Democratic staff, where she leads the Committee’s work on all diplomatic nominations subject to the Advice and Consent of the Senate. She is also the Counsel assigned to various policy portfolios related to the Western Hemisphere, South and Central Asia, and International Development, Energy and Environment.
Previously, Ms. Rodriguez served as a Legislative and Policy Analyst on the Committee. In this position, she assisted in various legislative initiatives that focused on security, economic development, and human rights as it relates to the Western Hemisphere. While serving in this position, she attended Law School in the evening. She has a JD from the George Washington University Law School, with a concentration on International and Comparative Law, and a BA from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
