Toward a Global Partnership to Counter Online Radicalization and Extremism

The George Washington University’s Program on Extremism, in partnership with the George Washington University Law School, will be holding a symposium focusing on the role of the Internet in both facilitating and countering violent extremism. The symposium’s purpose will be to create a neutral environment for frank dialogue and strategic collaboration between the technology industry, government policy makers and implementers, and independent subject matter experts. Our event will be composed of three plenary sessions made up of senior government officials, heads of major technology companies and experts on terrorist use of the Internet.
