GW Flag Day

On Wednesday, April 12, the university will celebrate its third annual GW Flag Day. This day demonstrates the role of philanthropy in every part of the GW experience for students, faculty, and staff. George Washington's Commander-in-Chief flag will be prominently displayed around campus to help identify the people and places supported by philanthropy. Share the message of philanthropy across social media networks using #GWFlagDay. Information about the activities happening on campus are below:

Campus Activities

9:30 am - 4 pm | KOGAN PLAZA

- Sign a thank you card to alumni donors and get a Georgetown Cupcake

- Come hang out with GW George in the morning and the real George Washington in the afternoon

- Take a photo in the afternoon with the Flag Day Photobooth in Mid-Campus Quad

- Participate in the Philanthroquest across campus

- Make a gift – once 500 students have given a gift of any size, the university will unlock $5,000 to the Ronald W. Howard Student Assistance Fund

11 am - 4 pm | CAMPUS-WIDE | LEARN MORE

- Activities are taking places at satellite locations across campus, including:

o   Elliott School

o   Smith Center

o   SON at VSTC

o   SEH

o   Duques Hall

o   GWSPH
