MSL-IP Courses
All candidates for the M.S.L.-IP degree must complete a minimum of 24 total credit hours, including Fundamental Issues in U.S. Law (6694) and a minimum of 14 credits from the following courses is required. M.S.L.-IP candidates are not required to write a thesis, but are required to write a 2-credit research paper of at least 8,000 words. Non-U.S. graduates also are required to take Legal Research and Writing for International LL.M. Students I (6692), in addition to Fundamental Issues in U.S. Law (6694), and a minimum of 14 credits from the list of required courses.
