Legal Advocacy

The Center participates in significant federal appeals, including Supreme Court litigation, involving the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of international child abduction, producing amicus briefs in partnership with pro bono lawyers from a selective network of law firms. The Center will also occasionally provide amicus support in state court appeals that offer the opportunity for significant potential impact in areas related to the Center’s research and advocacy. The Center collaborates both with other domestic violence and child maltreatment nonprofits and experts as co-amici.
