Special Events with the Copyright Society

This past year, Professor Robert Brauneis served as a co-chair of the D.C. Chapter of the Copyright Society, allowing the Intellectual Property Law Program to host two events with that group. At one event, Gary Rosen, author of Unfair to Genius (Oxford Univ. Press 2012), discussed the music industry’s response to the advent of broadcast radio in the 1920s. Professor Peter Menell of UC-Berkeley School of Law then presented his lecture, "This American Copyright Life: Reflections on Re-equilibrating Copyright for the Internet Age."
